No. It requests Google's send-only permission (gmail.send). Reading, searching or deleting mail is technically impossible with that permission — and you can verify what was granted anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
No. Each email is a completely normal Gmail message from that account — same as if you'd typed it in Gmail yourself. Replies land in that account's inbox.
Yes — personal Gmail or Google Workspace (custom-domain) accounts both work. Other providers are not yet included.
